Eager to produce a wine that respects both the land and the people, Loire winemakers set out to Georgia to discover the oldest known winemaking technique, the kvevri winemaking, a millennia-old know-how that they want to combine with their experiences of non-intervention (without external inputs) in the vineyard and winemaking domain. This documentary tells the story of a technical and human adventure, a quest towards harmonious living together. From Loir-et-Cher to Georgia, the experiments conducted by these passionate winemakers provide an opportunity to build connections between the past and the present, and between cultures that initially seem distant but that, in fact, have much in common. "A film for all curious individuals, wine enthusiasts." Featuring the participation of passionate, innovative French and Georgian winemakers. The meeting of two cultures that will discover an unknown common point: the passion for wine. "A human adventure, and the discovery of an ancestral technique." French winemakers will discover the ancient Georgian know-how and adapt it to the specificities of their local terroir.
