Located on the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, the Distillerie Mazy produces high quality Burgundy Liqueurs, Macs & Fines and Eaux-de-vie. The distillation is carried out according to artisanal methods where quality takes precedence over quantity.

This Plum Eau-de-Vie "La Dorée 18" from the Distillerie Mazy made from the distillation of Reine Claude Dorée, a rare plum variety from which the name of the cuvée derives, and is characterized by a beautiful roundness of the fruit and a strong sweetness at the end of the still. The plums are entirely sorted and stemmed by hand, a third of the whole pits are kept. Following a double distillation in a mari bath and then aged in feuillettes containing Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise for at least 3 years. We discover an amber and luminous eau-de-vie, with a golden colour. Its nose of ripe plums and notes of almonds gives rise to a round attack and aromas of candied fruit on the palate. The sweetness is expressed in a brioche finish. Traditionally enjoyed as a digestif, it will gladly accompany a foie gras cooked for pan-frying or a fruit tart.
