Description
Absinthe Doxa spirits from the Magneret Distillery
La distillerie magnenet, located in the heart of the Burgundian vineyards in Nuits-Saint-Georges, specialises in the production of natural spirits made from wine by-products. Jean-Philippe, originally from Pontarlier, the capital of absinthe, then studied the world of wine in Beaune and wanted to merge his two passions in a project that resembles him. All the distillery's spirits are certified Organic Agriculture and promote short and national circuits.
This Absinthe Doxa from the Magneret Distillery is a revelation among traditional absinthes. Contrary to the prevailing doxa (an opinion received as self-evident in a given civilization), it does not drive you crazy. Muse of poets in the 19th century, she was a victim of its excesses. Absinthe "Doxa" is made from the distillation of wine lees and then the maceration of botanicals (grande absinthe and anise) with a second distillation and bottling. The result is an alcohol that harmoniously combines the pronounced taste of the absinthe plant with the sweetness of anise. This absinthe is traditionally eaten with fresh water. Escape the doxa, taste authenticity.
