Words in my wine | Bernard Sobrier

Bernard Sorbier has written a collection of aphorisms on the theme of the earth, the vine, and wine. A pretext to talk about love ("At the end of this well-watered meal, the kiss was of a rather famous vintage), about God ("Wine, God's blood purifying man's bad blood), about the senses ("sommeliers are the interpreters of a foreign language that is learned with the nose."), about misunderstandings ("All paths of the taster lead to aroma"), ... and above all about women ("Pouring wine for a woman is offering her a bouquet of flowers"). In less than half an hour, a bouquet of words as dry as "the sound of the cork..." and as intoxicating as "...the silence of the perfume."
