Description
Proud and adopted Pauillac resident, Guy Mouchel brought back to life in his first book the maritime and commercial past of his town during the Belle Epoque. Still using postcards and old images, the author invites us here on a historical stroll through the vineyard. From the south to the north, leaving the village of Saint-Julien towards Saint-Lambert, passing through Bages and the city center of Pauillac, before heading towards Pouyalet, we visit all the great châteaux that make up the heritage of the world's most famous vineyard. Throughout the pages, we see prestigious wine cellars and exceptional vintages of the 20th century passing before our eyes.
