Description
After reading this book, you will not drink your wine the same way again. Beyond the earth and the vine, the cellar and the bottle, it will have made you discover at the bottom of your glass worlds you may not even have suspected the existence of. An assembly of eight authors, with eight perspectives and eight approaches, it reveals some of the mysteries of wine. Half of the reflections focus on the value of wine, the vine, and the winemakers within Judeo-Christianity, on Noah's drunkenness, on Jesus' viticultural parables, on their reinterpretation by the early theologians, on the Eucharist and the Last Supper. But balance was needed. And it is achieved through Greek mythology with the particular taste of a wine that is more of a creator than a creation, and two grape varieties from new worlds, those of an alcohol-free Islam-compatible wine and a biodynamic spirituality linked to nature and its rhythms. To be enjoyed without moderation.
