Description
Yellow like mirabelle plums, G’sundheit is the result of research on brandy in Alsace-Lorraine. It's a book that talks about the soil and blueberry fields, fermentation and distillation, spirits and tenderness.
Pauline Beck was born in 1995 in Freyming-Merlebach (57). A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, she lives and works between Paris and Alsace.
- sleep, eat, love - As long as there is fire, to cook food and stoneware bowls, melt glass in the crucible, and heat fruits in the still.
Pauline Beck creates for and around the hearth. She shapes sculptures and installations made up of precious know-how, landscapes, scents, spirits, and sunlight. She draws from a territory, personal commotions, and the anecdotal to mold new forms for universal stories. It's about man and nature, patience and tenderness, soil and sky. The issues are highly current, yet there is nothing new under the sun.
