Description
Biography for vie.Montpellier, 2017. The wine from Domaine Desforges, owned by Emilien and Louise Gustin, is gaining popularity. The numerous awards and positive reviews are a source of pride for the young couple. These praises are even more enjoyable as they are the result of a winemaking philosophy that has long been viewed with a critical eye: biodynamics. Respect for the terroir, homeopathic solutions, consideration of the moon's influence – biodynamics integrates the harvest into a process in harmony with the cycle of nature. It respects the environment, works alongside the elements, and does not seek to disrupt the order of events. The method carries risks, it can prove to be unstable, and this factor makes Emilien and Louise's success even more impressive. A critical success that will provoke the hatred and jealousy of mysterious individuals who will commit the most senseless acts to tarnish the reputation of the Gustins and their vineyards. After "Bio, le vin de la discorde," Louise and Emilien return in "Vinifera," which takes on the appearance of a thriller while explaining in an accessible way the benefits of biodynamic harvesting.
