This Elixir Liqueur from the Distillerie des Pères Chartreux is a commemorative creation, created in 2005 to mark the 400th anniversary of the handing over of the manuscript of the elixir of Long Life to the Carthusians of Vauvert in Paris. It draws its inspiration from the "Liqueur de Santé" of the 19th century, which became the Chartreuse Verte in 1840. This blended liqueur reveals all the aromatic power of the Vegetal elixir. When tasted, it reveals its complex flavour at a cool temperature of 10 to 12°C or on ice. In the kitchen, it adds a welcome aromatic power. A liqueur rich in history and taste.
