Description
By Patrice Vasseur-Dejonghe
This notebook consists mainly of documents concerning the various trials that Marcelin Albert faced during his lifetime.
We refrain from passing judgment, as it is not our role; without seeking to desacralize an idol, nor to create a hagiography of the character, we simply present these few pieces to the history file while remembering the famous phrase uttered by Maître Moro-Giafferri at Landru's trial:
"Gentlemen of the jury, beware of this strange sophism: the conviction of the jury. Conviction has never been proof! There is only one way to reach the truth, which is to always doubt it. . . "
