Irancy

The 72nd Saint Vincent Tournante de Bourgogne, organized on January 30 and 31, 2016 in Irancy, was an opportunity for me to showcase the village, its inhabitants, and the producers of this oh so original and endearing appellation. Thirty-five of them are involved in the organization of this event which, for the first time, honors the Auxerrois vineyard. Creating their portraits allowed me to immerse myself in their world, sharing their passion and extremely varied daily concerns with you. Besides this personal enrichment, I sincerely appreciated their deep love for the winemaker profession and their strong commitment to the success of this celebration. The different personalities, different sensibilities bring depth, character, and attachment to this corporation that upholds centuries-old traditions and natural values in the early 21st century. During these few months of preparation, I also met many teams of volunteers who delighted me with their enthusiasm, ingenuity, and joy of working together. Thanks to this experience, I perceived and felt the famous spirit of Irancy. Perhaps an exciting sequel to this first book could be considered.
