Description

Since 1797, every generation, the Market Square in Vevey hosts the Winegrowers' Festival and its show. Here is the booklet of the 2019 edition, written for the first time in its history by two authors. Throughout the poems that make it up, we find the cycle of seasons and the land, the men and women who work in the vineyards. Like a trellis, this text intertwines the regional and the universal, the traditional and the contemporary, the concrete and the lyrical. A praise of the senses, of slowness, of living together, of nature, of "repaysement."biographyBorn in Morges in 1978, Blaise Hofmann is the author of about ten novels and travelogues. In 2008, he received the Nicolas-Bouvier Prize for Estive at the Étonnants voyageurs festival in Saint-Malo. His latest works are Marquises (2014), Capucine (2015), Monde animal (2016). A columnist in various Swiss Romand newspapers, he also regularly writes plays and children's books, including Les Mystères de l'eau (2018) and Jour de Fête (2019). He is one of the two librettists of the Winegrowers' Festival 2019.biographyStéphane Blok is from Lausanne. Poet and musician, he writes and composes for theater, dance, and cinema. Since 2012, his texts have been published by Bernard Campiche Éditeur.
