Description
Jade and Léa Laurenty live and work on the family vineyard that has been in their family for several centuries. Léa, an agronomist, cultivates the vineyard with Dimitri, her husband who is an oenologist. Jade is single and manages the guest house next to the castle. Passionate about history, Jade delves into the family's past, against Léa's wishes to keep old memories secret, while daily life on the estate becomes more hectic and the bond between the two sisters becomes increasingly fragile. However, Jade is interested in very ancient events that may have sealed her family's fate forever... Ignoring the past is also shortening the future. "According to my information," declared Jade, pleased to prove to her sister that her genealogical research was useful, "this corpse is that of Gismonde Bloche, wife of Laurenty, who lived in the castle in the 18th century." Léa and Dimitri stared at her in disbelief. "There is no magic in my deduction. It happens that I am an amateur historian, and the name Gismonde matches that ancestor. I have reason to believe she did not die from a horseback riding accident as the family history claims. I will need your expertise." "I am at your service, inspector," said Jade, somewhat mischievously, as Jules Cornille was clearly furious that she had entered without his permission. "A new body in the cellar, near the Vouvray bottles..." Léa stammered, devastated. "That's all we needed to scare away the guests!"
