For over thirty years, Gilles Berlioz has been enhancing the terroirs of Chignin in Savoie with unique expertise. A former self-taught landscaper, he now cultivates 5 hectares of vines certified in biodynamics by Demeter. Each cuvée from the estate is crafted according to the philosophy "one terroir, one cuvée," ensuring pure, mineral wines of great delicacy. Gilles Berlioz favors natural techniques, such as horse plowing, and is constantly seeking to better understand and respect nature.
The cuvée "Les Fripons" 2017 is an exceptional parcel selection made from Roussanne, a flagship grape variety of the region. Vinified without additives, without added yeasts, and with minimal sulfur, it reflects the full richness of the Savoyard terroir. This white wine reveals a superb intense lemon color and vibrant freshness.
