Brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis, who come from a family lineage rooted in Burgundy viticulture, launched the "Chapuis Frères" estate in 2009 in Pommard. With 4 hectares of vines and purchases of often organic grapes, their range includes Savigny les Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses. Following the success, they moved to Ladoix, adopting a low-intervention approach, favouring indigenous yeasts and limiting the use of sulphur and oak barrels. The wines, harvested by hand, are distinguished by their aromatic freshness and their immediate drinkability, reflecting the Burgundian terroir.

The 2022 Chorey-les-Beaune white cuvée from the Chapuis Brothers is an essential reference, acclaimed by connoisseurs for the remarkable work of Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis. These two brothers, young and dynamic, heirs to a long line of winemakers in the region, have been brilliantly running their own estate since 2009. Located in the immediate vicinity of Beaune and the prestigious hill of the Grands Crus of Corton, the charming wine village of Chorey-les-Beaune offers excellent value for money, both in white and red. In this cuvée, the Chapuis brothers offer us a 100% Chardonnay expression of a perfect balance between creaminess and freshness, sublimated by a maturation in high quality oak barrels. Notes of ripe orchard fruit (peach, pear) blend harmoniously with nuances of citrus, almonds and toast. A slightly toasted finish completes this taste experience.
