Description

White wine Côtes du Jura Vin Jaune 10 ans de barrels 2005 Domaine de Sainte Marie

Domaine de Sainte Marie The Sainte Marie family, which proudly displays its motto: "Fidelis, Fortisque Simul", has been present on the land and in the vineyards of the Jura for more than 200 years. First in Montigny-lès-Arsures, near Arbois, where she owned the castle and the land acquired by an ancestor general of the empire, several houses and vineyards in the area, as well as the family farm. Then more recently in Saint Germain les Arlay near Chateau-Châlon, with the purchase of a 14-hectare estate which, along with the other family vines, took the name "Domaine de Sainte Marie". Here the family tradition of vines and wine takes on a new dimension: that of top-of-the-range wines, worthy of their appellations, made from traditional Jura grape varieties such as Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard and Trousseau. Wines that tell a story of family, terroir and know-how. Wines that are "assembled" rather than blended, as it is true that a great wine is the result of a mysterious alchemy rather than a mathematical construction.

This Côtes du Jura, Vin Jaune, harvested in 2005, aged for at least 10 years in barrels without topping up and bottled in 2018 is a white wine from the Jura grape variety made from the Savagnin grape variety. This wine has aromas of fresh nuts and sweet spices. A rich and powerful palate that will be the perfect accompaniment to roast poultry, aged Comté or Mont d'Or and why not Asian cuisine
