In 1992, on the basis of a very small vineyard in the regional appellations of Burgundy, Jean-Yves Devevey created his own estate. Nourished during his first five years of professional activity by the experience of the great Burgundian winegrowers, enriched by an aesthetic and universal approach to wine by Becky Wasserman, he built his estate step by step by favouring a qualitative orientation of the profession of vigneron. A careful look at the precious lands of Burgundy and the thoughtful geste of a scrupulous craftsman lead to the production of tasty and seductive wines.

This 2017 Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc "Champs Perdrix" from Domaine Jean-Yves Devevey is a delicate Chardonnay with citrus aromas and a touch of toast. On the palate, there is a lot of tension, amplitude and straightforwardness with vanilla, buttery and woody notes, certainly due to the 12-month ageing in oak barrels
