Domaine La Soufrandière is located in Vinzelles, in the south of Burgundy in the Mâconnais, founded by the paternal grandfather in 1947. All the vines are between 33 and 80 years old and are located, east, south-east, in the middle and top of the hillside, made of very red clay and limestone known as "entroques", dating back more than 180 million years. The choice of soil life and natural rhythms: The "Bret Brothers" have chosen Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture since the takeover of the estate in 2000. This life-friendly agriculture, which does not use any herbicides or synthetic pesticides, seems to them to be the way to produce balanced, vibrant wines that reveal their terroir. The Domaine has been certified organic and biodynamic since 2006 (official conversion in 2003).

The Carbonnode was born from the contraction of Carbonic (fermentation) and (Climate) "La Bonnode". It is therefore a unique cuvée of Chardonnay grapes from the estate, vinified in whole bunches, in the manner of reds. Thus, after a 9-day maceration in a sheltered environment, the grapes were pressed and then the juice finished fermenting in a room (228 liters). With its slightly orange hue, its zesty and open nose, it will have everything to seduce you by breaking the established codes.
This original process brings a lot of complexity to the wine, with notes of hawthorn, white flowers, pears and acaci with a subtle touch of bitters and an appetizing salinity.
