Domaine La Soufrandière is located in Vinzelles, in the south of Burgundy in the Mâconnais, founded by the paternal grandfather in 1947. All the vines are between 33 and 80 years old and are located, east, south-east, in the middle and top of the hillside, made of very red clay and limestone known as "entroques", dating back more than 180 million years. The choice of soil life and natural rhythms: The "Bret Brothers" have chosen Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture since taking over the estate in 2000. This life-friendly agriculture, which does not use any herbicides or synthetic pesticides, seems to them to be the way to produce balanced, vibrant wines that reveal their terroir. The Domaine has been certified organic and biodynamic since 2006 (official conversion in 2003).

This 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles from Domaine La Soufrandière expresses the full maturity of Chardonnay from the South Mâconnais. Selection of the estate's "youngest vines" (33 to 50 years old) located on the "Les Quarts" climate which pass (because of their youth) into Pouilly-Vinzelles La Soufrandière AOC. All of them are magnificently south-east-facing, in the middle of the clay-limestone hillside. The soils are ploughed and all the work in the vineyard is carried out by hand so as not to compact the soil, which therefore lives without artifice. The result is a complex and long wine on the palate with aromas of white flowers and peaches.
