Description
his richly illustrated book presents to readers "the golden one," as Rebula has been lovingly described. Rebula grape, an ancient variety once prized by princes and popes, originates from the region that now straddles the border between Italy and Slovenia. On the Italian side, the region is called Collio, in Slovenia it's Goriška Brda. It has been ranked by experts among the five best wine terroirs on the planet, alongside Bordeaux and Tuscany. Wine experts agree, describing Rebula as a "dream wine of a new era." Rebula was ranked the best wine in the world in 2010 by sommelier Luca Gardini, and one Rebula received an incredible score of 100 points on Wine Spectator's 100-point scale.
