Ahuy, between water and wine: Discovering the forgotten wine history of the town of Ahuy.

After the revolution, the local winemakers, freed from the yoke of the canons, regained control of the vineyards and were able, through their technical expertise, to maintain a quality vineyard despite wars and climatic uncertainties. However, the pressure of urbanization due to the proximity of Dijon and the detrimental impact of vine diseases such as phylloxera on the quality of grape varieties took its toll on this vineyard, which, by its natural characteristics, offered a potential comparable to that of many great estates of the Côte. This 20X27cm work of over 200 pages will allow readers to discover the forgotten viticultural history of this commune on the outskirts of Dijon and will thus be the first work in our collection "Wine Villages of Greater Dijon".
