Description
Vertical tasting of Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is among the most famous and celebrated wineries in the world.
Its history intertwines with and overlaps the history of France, from the Renaissance to the storming of the Bastille, from World War II to the present day, where it continues to anticipate and influence the fortunes of Burgundy and its wines.
In this book, Aubert de Villaine, at the helm of DRC for almost half a century, focuses on the perspectives of Burgundy wines and the challenges they will have to face, amidst climate change and new economic scenarios. He also takes us on a memorable vertical tasting of one of its most iconic wines, Romanée-Saint-Vivant: a marvel of energy, balance, and personality.
