Château Pavie, Premier Grand Cru Classé A, is among the legendary wines of Bordeaux. This excellence, signed by Chantal and Gérard Perse, is reflected in the remarkable architecture of the estate and at the table of the Hostellerie de Plaisance, crowned with two Michelin stars. These are two major tourist attractions in the splendid village of Saint-Émilion. An exemplary success for a vineyard acquired in 1998 by Chantal and Gérard Perse. Having fallen in love with this Saint-Émilion terroir, they, who were then owners of supermarkets in Île-de-France, invested their hearts, souls, and resources to reinvent the estate and elevate its wine to the ultimate accolades. Château Pavie is the success story of self-made entrepreneurs who, true to their deep nature, continued to undertake, driven by the simple desire to achieve the best from the adventure they had chosen to embark upon. The Perses conquered the hill of Pavie step by step, rethinking the vines and wines with Michel Rolland, and the organization of the buildings, architecture, and decoration with Alberto Pinto. Visitors from around the world now enjoy these 8,500 square meters of stone and transparency, where they taste the wines of the Perse vineyards while admiring the famous Pavie hillside.
