Description
Ratafia Spirits "Presq' Blanc" from Jacoulot
Vincent Jacoulot, born in 1864 in Romanèche-Thorins, in the heart of southern Burgundy, in the middle of the prestigious Beaujolais Crus, began his career in 1891 by embarking on the distillation of Marcs de Bourgogne, using grapes from the wine estates of his winemaker friends. This is how the House Jacoulotwas born. From then on, the success of the Marcs et Fines de Bourgogne Jacoulot propelled the brand to eminent fame throughout the France. Numerous medals won at prestigious competitions testify to the meticulously elaborated quality of Jacoulot in its cellars. The authentic Jacoulot, a true emblem of la maison, has established itself as an essential brand. For more than a century, Jacoulot has perpetuated a tradition of excellence and taste innovation. Since 2013, Philippe Vançon has assumed the role of owner and ma winery of Jacoulot. While preserving the founding values of la maison (authenticity, quality and taste excellence); He takes on new challenges every day to ensure the sustainability of this legendary brand.
This Ratafia "Presq' Blanc" from la maison Jacoulot is a delicious beverage made during the harvest by mixing 2/3 of sweet grape juice with 1/3 of Fine de Bourgogne, thus blocking the fermentation at 17° and preserving its natural sugar. Its production is totally ecological since it does not undergo any treatment. LA MAISON Jacoulot uses two emblematic white grape varieties of Burgundy to make his Ratafia Blanc, Chardonnay and Aligoté. With a golden-white appearance, this ratafia gives off citrus notes and a beautiful length in the mouth while full of greediness and fullness. A real regional treasure to be enjoyed as an aperitif or as a very chilled digestif.
