Spirits Bitter Liqueur "Doxa" from the Magneret Distillery

La distillerie magnenet, located in the heart of the Burgundian vineyards in Nuits-Saint-Georges, specialises in the production of natural spirits made from wine by-products. Jean-Philippe, originally from Pontarlier, the capital of absinthe, then studied the world of wine in Beaune and wanted to merge his two passions in a project that resembles him. All the distillery's spirits are certified Organic Agriculture and promote short and national circuits.

This Bitter Liqueur "Cyno" from the Magneret Distillery is a bitter liqueur made from wild rose hips and gentian root. Its unique bitterness is the result of a perfect harmony between the slightly pronounced acidity of the rose hips and the earthy hardiness of the gentian, balanced by the sweet bitterness of the grapefruit. The whole is spiced up through different spices: ginger, Sichuan pepper and cardamom. This liqueur is the perfect ingredient for creating exceptional cocktails, such as a Burgundian Spritz when elongated with Crémant de Bourgogne and a splash of sparkling water, or simply mixed with tonic for an equally pleasant simplicity.
