SAB'S Spirits Apricot Liqueur from the Alambic Bourguignon

Guardian of a centuries-old tradition, theAlambic Bourguignon is located in Beaune, in the heart of wine-growing Burgundy and seeks to preserve the ancestral art of distillation. Once one boiler per village, today there are only a handful of craftsmen carrying on this heritage. The Alambic Bourguignon processes grape marcs and wine lees from the most prestigious terroirs of the region and are among the last to produce the AOC Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne. They also offer a very nice range of Gin and Eaux-de-vie from different horizons.

This SAB'S Apricot Liqueur from Alambic Bourguignon is the perfect expression of apricot ripened in the sun through a liqueur. Each apricot was harvested at perfect ripeness and pitted meticulously by hand before macerating in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir brandy from the Grands Crus de Bourgogne to give it a remarkable sweetness on the palate. In addition, the kernels were carefully broken to extract their almonds, which were added to the maceration to bring a subtle pastry note to the whole.
