SAB'S Barrel Gin Spirits Alambic Bourguignon

Guardian of a centuries-old tradition, theAlambic Bourguignon is located in Beaune, in the heart of wine-growing Burgundy and seeks to preserve the ancestral art of distillation. Once one boiler per village, today there are only a handful of craftsmen carrying on this heritage. The Alambic Bourguignon processes grape marcs and wine lees from the most prestigious terroirs of the region and are among the last to produce the AOC Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne. They also offer a very nice range of Gin and Eaux-de-vie from different horizons.

This barrelAlambic Bourguignon- aged Gin is a gin made from a maceration of juniper berries and 15 other aromatic plants in a French grain alcohol followed by a 3-month ageing in Chardonnay barrels from an estate in Puligny Montrachet. This choice gives the gin a deliciously vanilla structure, golden undertones and a pleasant sweetness.
