Description
Bourgogne Rouge 2014 | Wine from Domaine Pinto
The Domaine Pinto embodies a family history deeply rooted in the Burgundian winemaking tradition. The plot was acquired in 2001 by Marc Pinto, who decided to revive an old family cellar where, a century earlier, his ancestors were already producing wine. In 2015, Louis Pinto crafted his first vintage, marking a turning point for this small artisanal estate. The plot, planted exclusively with Pinot Noir, is located in Aluze, a discreet yet promising terroir conducive to the creation of authentic wines.
This Bourgogne Rouge 2014 is the result of meticulous work on a micro-parcel of 0.2 hectares, entirely planted with Pinot Noir. The artisanal winemaking respects the integrity of the grape, allowing the Aluze terroir to be fully expressed. With a limited production of 900 bottles, each bottle is a unique piece, marked by natural freshness, subtle balance, and pure aromatic clarity without artifice.
The clear ruby red color suggests a delicate and elegant wine. The nose reveals subtle aromas of fresh red berries, such as raspberry and cherry, accompanied by discreet floral notes and a slightly spicy touch. On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, followed by a light yet balanced structure. The tannins are fine and silky, and the finish leaves an impression of purity and harmony.
The Bourgogne Rouge 2014 from Domaine Pinto pairs perfectly with roast poultry, quail stuffed with mushrooms, or a herb-crusted pork roast. It also complements mild and aged cheeses, such as Brie de Meaux or Tomme de Savoie. As an aperitif, it reveals all its freshness and delicacy.
