Description
Red Wine Côte de Brouilly 2022 from Domaine Lafarge-Vial
Rich in the experience and knowledge acquired from the family estate in Volnay, Chantal, Frédéric, and their daughter Clotilde decided in 2014 to embark on the Beaujolais adventure. They acquired old vines in Fleurie, which were organically cultivated and converted to biodynamics. The soils are plowed by horse, the vines are pruned in goblet style, and in the cellar, the Burgundian method was adapted to Gamay to produce dense and appealing wines with their typicity and accessibility.
The Côte de Brouilly 2022 from Domaine Lafarge-Vial is a wine from the Brouilly appellation, renowned for its red wines made from the Gamay grape. This vintage offers rich aromas of red fruits like raspberry and cherry, as well as notes of sweet spices. The Brouilly region, located in Beaujolais, is known for its granitic soils and its climate favorable to the cultivation of Gamay. The resulting wines are often fresh, fruity, and elegant, reflecting the unique terroir of the region. The Côte de Brouilly 2022 from Domaine Lafarge-Vial thus embodies the distinctive character and quality of the wines produced in this prestigious appellation.
