Vigneron Magazine presents Les Desvignes brother and sister, 8th generation on the terroirs of Morgon, as those who are writing some of the most exciting pages of today's Beaujolais. The domaine, considered by many as the benchmark of the Morgon appellation, produces deep and intense wines with a lot of charm that express the originality of the best terroirs of this Beaujolais cru.

This Morgon "Javernières Aux Pierres" 2022 comes from the eastern part of the Py hill, which dominates the entire appellation. It is a cuvée from 90-year-old vines, in the place called "Aux Pierres" in Javernières, a terroir recognized for its potential long before the AOC.
Very rocky, with almost century-old vines, these are high-quality old massal selections. This results in a wine of great density, deep with a well-present structure, carried by black fruit with an almost saline balance. Aged in a 30 hl concrete egg, this Morgon is built for aging. A pure and hard Desvignes with this new parcel. In the process of Organic certification since 2020.
