Description
Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru red “Les Fournières” 2023 | Wine from Domaine Raphaëlle Guyot
The domaine Arnoux Père et Fils, established in Chorey-lès-Beaune in the Côte d'Or since the 1930s, has embodied the passion for vines and wine for five generations. Audrey and Jean-Baptiste, representing the new generation since 2017, are bringing new viticultural techniques and developing export sales. Committed to sustainable viticulture that respects the terroirs, they obtained High Environmental Value level 3 certification in 2021, confirming their commitment to biodiversity and the preservation of the environment.
TheAloxe-Corton 1er Cru red “Les Fournières” 2023 from Domaine Raphaëlle Guyot comes from a 36-acre plot planted with Pinot Noir in 1970. Located at an altitude of 250 meters with a South-east facing, the terroir is rich, stony and clayey. The harvest is manual. Vinification includes cold pre-fermentation, around twenty days of vatting with light punching down and pumping over, using native yeasts. Aging takes place for 12 months in barrels, including 15 to 20% new barrels, followed by 3 to 4 months in vats.
