Description
Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er cru Red "Les Marconnets" 2021 Wine from Domaine de la Vougeraie
Let yourself be enchanted by our Savigny cuvée, heir to an ancestral winemaking tradition where wine was praised for its theological qualities and its beneficial power. Nestled on hillsides bathed in the soft light of the East, this vineyard, jealously cultivated for centuries, is a living tribute to the art of Burgundian viticulture. The plots of Billard 30 and Cabane/Dévers, totalling 1.83 hectares, are proudly home to Pinot Noir, the region's king grape variety. The sandy soil, dotted with pebbles and rich in iron, gives this wine a unique personality, combining finesse and depth. With respect for nature, we practice organic and biodynamic viticulture, certified by Ecocert® since the year 2000. Every geste, from ridging the vines in winter to spring evasivation, is carried out with love and respect for the terroir. Vinification and ageing are sacred rites, where the wine rests for 15 months in barrels, with 20% new barrels, before revealing all its splendour after a month in stainless steel vats. Without aggressive fining or brutal filtration, our wine expresses all the purity and complexity of its terroir, thus offering a taste experience of rare intensity.
