Description
Santenay 1er cru Red "Clos des Mouches" 2022
Discover the "A La Vigne" cuvée, made from carefully selected grapes on a plot that has been monitored for decades. Planted in the 1980s, this vine is pampered, cultivated according to traditional methods and harvested by hand. With an alcohol content of 13% vol. and an ageing potential of 5 to 10 years, this wine reveals all its splendour at a serving temperature of 15-16°C. Its vinification favours indigenous yeasts and preserves 30% of the whole harvest, for a delicate fermentation. After a slightly drawn-out vatting, the maturation in Burgundian pieces, 15% of which are new, sublimates its aromas. This Premier Cru of Santenay, on a south-facing hillside, offers a unique terroir, characterized by a shallow soil on Jurassic limestone rock
