Brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis, who come from a family lineage rooted in Burgundy viticulture, launched the "Chapuis Frères" estate in 2009 in Pommard. With 4 hectares of vines and purchases of often organic grapes, their range includes Savigny les Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses. Following the success, they moved to Ladoix, adopting a low-intervention approach, favouring indigenous yeasts and limiting the use of sulphur and oak barrels. The wines, harvested by hand, are distinguished by their aromatic freshness and their immediate drinkability, reflecting the Burgundian terroir.

The 2022 vintage of the Coteaux Bourguignons from the Chapuis Brothers is truly a pure delight, displaying a diabolical drinkability! This 100% Gamay wine, made from grapes carefully selected around Julienas, in the Beaujolais, by Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis, two young and dynamic brothers heirs to a long regional winemaking tradition. Since 2009, they have been running their own estate under the name Chapuis & Chapuis. Gamay thrives perfectly on the granite soils characteristic of Beaujolais, at an altitude of 400 metres. On the palate, this wine reveals aromas of red fruits, plum, cherry and redcurrant. No coarse notes of banana or candy, only the pure expression of the fruit! Ageing in oak barrels for 5 months adds a delicate toasted touch to this gourmet fruit. A wine to be enjoyed at any time!
