Domaine Pierre Gelin was created in 1925 and is now managed by Pierre-Emmanuel (3rd generation) using sustainable pest management, with ploughing and the use of natural fertilizers (from organic farming).

The Clos Napoléon, a parcel formerly registered as "Aux Cheuzots", owes its name to Claude Noisot, an officer of the Imperial Guard who owned it. C. Noisot, who accompanied Napoleon to the Island of Elba, wishing to pay homage to his emperor, commissioned the Dijon sculptor Rude to erect a statue erected in the Parc Noisot. The label of the Clos Napoléon is the reproduction of this sculpture "The Awakening of Napoleon".

This Fixin 1er cru "Clos Napoléon" 2019 from Domaine Pierre Gelin is a fluid wine that has a beautiful ruby colour with black reflections, its fine and delicate nose with aromas of red stone fruits and touches of vanilla, on the palate, a beautiful minerality and a nice length on round tannins.
