This 2021 Morgon "Javernières Aux Pierres" comes from the eastern part of the Py hill, which dominates the entire appellation, it is a cuvée from 90-year-old vines, on the place called "Aux Pierres" in Javernières, a terroir recognized for its potential long before the AOC.
Very stony, with vines that are almost a hundred years old, these are old quality massal selections. The result is a wine of great density, deep with a strong structure, carried by a black fruit with an almost saline balance. Matured in 30 hl concrete eggs, this Morgon is made for ageing. A pure Desvignes with this new plot. In the process of being certified Organic since 2020.
