6 generations of winemakers have built and shaped the Delagrange & Fils estate over time. Today, the 7th generation has taken up the challenge and taken charge of the vines managed in sustainable cultivation with, for example, the addition of organic matter, or ma itrized ploughing to preserve the richness of a living soil. The motto of la maison "Wines with a free spirit" is made in the soils, the vinification and the ageing, it is all a question of subtle balance and adaptation. The art of the vine today consists in knowing how to both accompany and let it happen. A bias that requires a lot of monitoring, a great capacity for reaction and the willingness to question oneself.

This 2019 Volnay Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Henri Delagrange has a dark garnet colour with a purple reflection. The nose evokes small black fruits (blueberry, blackcurrant, blackberry) and on the palate, a finesse and perfect balance on silky tannins.
Pair it with roast poultry or Bresse chicken with cream and you will enjoy a wine with bewitching charm!
