Description

Saint-Amour Red Wine "Villa Violettes" 2021 Domaine Cheveau

In Burgundy, in the heart of Pouilly-Fuissé, the Domaine Cheveau vineyard covers a little over 20 hectares, including 15 hectares of Chardonnay from the Mâconnais and 5 from Gamay around Saint Amour.
Domaine Cheveau is the story of a family rooted in the hamlet of Pouilly, initiated by André and then Michel.
Today the 3rd generation is in place. Julien, Nicolas and his wife Aurélie have taken up the torch and are growing this family heritage to make it take the exceptional place we know today.

This 2021 Saint-Amour "Villa Violettes" from Domaine Cheveau is a fruity and greedy Gamay with notes of wild blackberries and spices, with a beautiful roundness in the mouth and crisp fruit. To be enjoyed in its youth, it will be perfect as an accompaniment to grilled meats or a cheese platter (goat's cheese, camembert, brie, blue cheese)
