Description
Red wine Aloxe-Corton 'Les Combes' 2021 Domaine Jean-Baptiste Boudier
After a BTS at the Lycée viticole de Beaune, a degree SCIENCE de la Vigne in Dijon, a diploma in Oenology in Bordeaux and numerous internships in renowned vineyards in France and New Zealand, Jean-Baptiste Boudier decided to take the plunge by taking over a few hectares of vines from the family estate. His estate is worked with respect for the environment with particular care given to the vines and soils.
This Aloxe-Corton red ''Les Combes'' from Domaine Jean-Baptiste Boudier comes from vines with an average age of 78 years planted at the foot of the Corton hill on a clayey-limestone terroir with great drainage. This results in a wine with a nice balance. An expressive nose with aromas of peach and citrus. A lively wine with body that also retains a pleasant freshness and a nice length.
