Description
Red wine Maranges "Le Goty" Vieilles Vignes 2021 Domaine Bachey-Legros
The richness of the Bachey-Legros estate lies in its old vines. Low yields, highly concentrated grapes, deeply rooted roots, so many assets to produce top-of-the-range wines, where power meets elegance, marked by a strong identity of their terroir.
The style and quality of the wines are intimately linked to the history of the family. It has been written over six generations since the 19th century: François Bachey, Lazare, Joseph, Marcel and Christiane. Today, it's the sixth generation: Samuel and Lénaïc.
This Maranges "Le Goty" Vieilles Vignes 2021is a concentrated wine, with an incredible black ink colour, thanks to the vines, planted in 1945 and which draw from the depths of the terroir.
The grapes ripen rather late and they are only harvested when they are ripe in order to obtain the most melted tannins possible. This raw material is vinified delicately, in a short time, to let all the purity of the fruit express itself.
