Description
Red Wine Beaune "Montée Rouge" 2018 Domaine Françoise André
Domaine Françoise André was created in 1983, after a succession of purchases of vines from prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, it reaches 11 hectares today.
A vineyard located in the north of the Côte de Beaune and cultivated using a biodynamic approach. The estate has been certified organic since 2012.
This estate is one of the last to have its cellars behind the ramparts of Beaune. Previously entrusted to the Sénard account, the management has been ensured since 2009 by Laurianne André, daughter-in-law of the owner, supported by the estate manager Jérôme Desprès.
This Beaune ''Montée Rouge'' 2018 offers a not very intense red colour but it does not fail to light up the Pinot with the eye. The woodiness takes over the red flowers (peony and rose) on the nose. Its body with its light tannins brings a thirst-quenching freshness to the palate like crystal water. Simple dishes, without sauce or arabesques, such as a roast chicken, will escort him to his final resting place.
