Loire

When Louis receives this invitation from Agathe, he is a little moved. And intrigued. So long ago. Even though she had never heard from him again, he had never forgotten her. Of the few years he spent with her on the banks of the Loire, Louis has a dazzling memory. So he can't resist the idea of taking a few days to get back into the light of the river.

He decides to walk to the meeting place that Agathe gave him by email. It's evening. It's hot. Louis happily walks along the river and on a beach decides to cool off before arriving. He doesn't care about it and gets into the water. Error. He loses his footing and starts drifting. He doesn't panic and lets himself float without a fight. Despite the danger, he feels good. The problem is that it's starting to get dark and the current has dropped Louis to the other side. Here he is, naked, having to walk a few kilometers to reach the bridge and return to the other side. He waits for the dark night and begins this long walk that is actually quite funny, and which he will later describe as magical. He arrives at dawn. Agathe is not there. LA MAISON seems empty. At that point, he didn't know anything about what was to follow. He knows nothing of the surprise that Agathe had in store for the people who loved her...
