Description
From the ten crus of Beaujolais to the Coteaux-du-Lyonnais (passing through the AOP Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages), 25 women and men face daily climate and societal challenges to offer us wines mostly made from a single red grape variety, the Gamay noir à jus blanc, but with remarkable diversity. These winemakers open their estates to curious visitors and point out their favorite spots: hiking trails, villages with golden stones, festivals, and other places where it's good to taste wines and specialties, the Rhône beckons you! These encounters, vividly portrayed by Idelette Fritsch's lively and passionate writing, are beautifully captured in images by Emmanuel Perrin. Both have managed to capture the essence of the winemakers in their world.
