Description
In 2004, Perrine and Charles Hervé-Gruyer created the Bec Hellouin Farm in Haute-Normandie, which is now a reference in natural agriculture. The farm's results - abundant and high-quality harvests, obtained through solar energy and the principles of permaculture - astonish agronomists. A study, conducted in partnership with eminent researchers, demonstrates the social, economic, and ecological relevance of permaculture agriculture. By using nature as a model, permaculture agriculture could be the source of millions of jobs. This book tells the story of a family that managed to build an oasis of life on infertile land in just a few years. It is also a broad investigation conducted around the world to meet those who are shaping a new way of being farmers in the 21st century, questioning current farming methods, and thus inventing the world of tomorrow.
