Description
In contemporary Lorraine, the portrait of a woman striving for her freedom. Annelise is sent on assignment by her editorial team to Villey-Saint-Etienne, a small village on the banks of the Moselle, to cover the distribution of wine to the villagers on Easter Sunday, a secular local tradition. This is an opportunity for this fifty-year-old woman to take a break from her tumultuous life, caught between an unfaithful husband, two grown children about to leave, and an elderly father losing his autonomy, locked in silence. On the road to the vineyards of Toul, memories bring Annelise back some thirty years to 1969. A very young scout leader, she led a scout camp nearby. An enchanted parenthesis where she experienced her first love. Why did she give up on the boy she loved? As her life falls apart, Annelise becomes aware of the burden of secrets and taboos that has always weighed on her shoulders. Is there still time to free herself from the past? And at what cost in terms of revelations?
