Description
Preserve at all costs the tranquility of the countryside or give in to these young cycling enthusiasts in search of pleasure and thrills? This is a challenge that pits young city dwellers against the elders of a Morvan village. Will the radiant Blandine, a flower of the region, be able to reconcile the two sides? Blandine lives in the Morvan, amidst mountains, forests, and trout-filled rivers. Visitors are rare until young "strangers" develop a passion for the Travers paths, which they race down on their mountain bikes. They are welcomed by Octave, an old farmer whose solitude they brighten. But in the village café, there is discontent. Who are they? By what right do they claim the rugged hills and vandalize the trails? Sixteen-year-old Blandine is allowed to go on sporty outings in the Travers. But it is soon discovered that she will be meeting her lover there, one of these strangers... Two sides then clash: city dwellers and locals, the renewal of the land and rural traditions. Will Blandine, as clever as she is kind, be able to reconcile them? With the help of Pierre Tricot, the wise one in whom everyone trusts...
