Description
Patrick Dieumegarde, considered the greatest actor of his generation, is approaching his fifties with panache. Originally from Touraine, he has purchased a magnificent vineyard estate on the lands of Vouvray. In honor of his new conquest, the lovely Victoire Margerolle, a rising star in French cinema, he organizes a party at his Tremblay castle. The oenologist Benjamin Cooker and his dashing assistant Virgile, winemakers sought after by Dieumegarde for their reputation of excellence, are both invited to this evening where the crème de la crème of show business will shine. Not accustomed to these social gatherings, the Bordeaux partners end up accepting the invitation. However, they did not imagine that they would witness - and perhaps even be involved in - a particularly sordid crime. Two mystery writers are also lurking in the region, scouting for their next book. They too did not expect to uncover secrets hidden in the tuffeau caves. Harsh reality, as often happens, surpasses fiction. In the gentle tranquility of the Loire riverbanks, dirty stories intertwine, too quickly buried, with tainted desires and petty ambitions.
