Marseilles, 2052. Eight tsunamis and rising waters engulfed part of the city.

Nolane and his brother, Gal, dive to find rare objects in the submerged villas, sell them and earn enough to survive in this city of glaring inequalities. They are excellent divers and their reputation reaches the ears of the Commodore, a powerful and disturbing figure, who orders them to recover a mysterious object from the depths of the city, risking their lives.

When Gal does not come to the surface, Nolane, upset by the death of her brother, enters the Commodore's service to organize his revenge. She meets Bonnie, a young high-level swimmer, then the Commodore's nephew, Enoch, and his friends, Ulysses and Yasmina. Adelis and her little sister Nina soon complete the gang.

On and under the waters invaded by dangerous species, teenagers will take risks. And their friendship grew stronger. There will not be too many of them to face adversity, help those more disadvantaged than them and understand the mystery of Ilos.

Marion Brunet is an author born in the Vaucluse. Passionate about literature, she studied literature before becoming a specialized educator in a day hospital for teenagers. Crowned with some thirty literary prizes, including the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière 2018 for L'été Circulaire at Albin Michel. Marion Brunet has been noticed in Young Adult literature for her novels Frangines and Dans le désordre. She is the author of a dozen novels.
