Editor's reviewThe Wine and Winery Notebook reveals the secrets of the wine world, in a work full of surprises. Readers will find pages that grow, windows that open to satisfy curiosity with new information, mini-notebooks full of anecdotes and details on each page. Thus, discovering or deepening into wine culture becomes an entertaining pleasure, open to surprises, with the main information presented in an accessible, enjoyable, and very original way. The book is divided into three sections: the first explains where wine comes from, with an overview of the main wine regions; the second provides a general view of how wines are made and preserved, first in the producing winery and then at home; and the last section details how to serve wine, how to taste it, and the main food pairings. At the end of the book, in an additional section, two types of cards are proposed: tasting cards and winery cards. Tasting cards turn a gathering of friends or family into a fun tasting session, where each participant can note on the removable cards the sensations and aromas of each proposed wine. Winery cards help create a catalog of the wines stored at home and personalize the book, turning it into a true logbook of your own winery, documenting the pleasure that the acquired wines bring to our senses.
