Over the past few years, LexiVin has grown and matured. Bringing these two beautiful European languages, German and French, closer together in the service of the cause of the "noble nectar"—a cultural reference also present in the history of these two producing nations—has been our main objective.

Since 1987, LexiVin has helped many oenologists, professors, sommeliers, and salespeople. Their warm testimonials have encouraged us to continue our update task. LexiWein makes a 10-year leap for its update, and the acronyms and abbreviations are mentioned in both languages.

Presented by Bernard Pivot as "precise, educational, necessary, and valuable," LexiVin was confirmed in 1991 by receiving the "International Terminology" special mention awarded by the Jury of the Grand Prix International de la Communication de la Vigne et du Vin - LVMH".
